WELCOME TO GRAY CHILD FOUNDATION
Gray Child Foundation (GCF) is a Pan-African non-partisan organization, working to improve communities and human capital development of people in Nigeria and Africa by championing Positive Peace initiatives and advocating for the re-enforcement of the eight Pillars of Positive Peace, so as to advance sustainable development.
We partner with governments, international organizations, civil societies and the private sector to bring about positive social change that would promote and support programmes that affect the rights, education and orientation of the African child. We encourage peace building in communities, and provide a forum for economic and community development in Nigeria and beyond. Gray Child Foundation acts as advocates for the provision of clean water and environment, and we liaise with government agencies and other NGO’s for the provision of medical aid, prevention and treatment of diseases etc.

In furtherance of the objectives of Activating Positive Peace in Nigeria, and inline with the whole-of-society peacebuilding and proactive conflict prevention approach of Rotary Nigeria National Peacebuilding & Conflict Prevention Committee, an Initiative of the Rotary Nigerian-Great Britain & Ireland Inter Country Committee(ICC), we are delighted to inform Rotary Members of Districts 9110, 9125, 9141 and 9142 that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has granted the Rotary Nigeria Peacebuilding & Conflict Prevention Committee ELECTION OBSERVATION status to participate in the upcoming 2023 General Elections as an Election Observer organization.Consequently, Rotary Members who are interested to participate in the election observation exercise are encouraged to signify their interest by sending an EOI e-mail consisting of their: Names, Rotary designation/ title, Club name and District, Place of residence, Location of election observation interest (Local government and State) etc, to rotarynigpeacecomm@gmail.com, on or before Tuesday, 17th January 2023.
Please be informed that selected candidates shall be contacted for provision of additional support documents and joint Districts training.
Furthermore, we wish to inform the general public that the Peace Committee is available to collaborate with local and international organizations interested in the 2023 Nigeria general elections.
